MXS Games: Hybrid Cloud & Node Infrastructure

The MXS Games ecosystem utilizes a "Web 2.5" architecture, designed to bridge the gap between traditional gaming convenience and blockchain-enabled ownership. This model is built for scalability and ease of use, with all backend operations intended to be managed for reliability.

The Intended Role of the $XSEED Token

At the core of our ecosystem lies the $XSEED token, which is designed to serve as a versatile utility vehicle with several prospective functions:

  • Ecosystem Fees: Intended to facilitate transactions and interactions within the blockchain components of the infrastructure.

  • Unit of Exchange: Designed to enable the purchase of NFTs and digital assets while aiming for interoperability across multiple titles.

  • Engagement Incentives: We strive to provide rewards based on user participation and contributions to the ecosystem.

Bridging Web 2 and Blockchain

MXS Games is designed to function as a hybrid infrastructure, seeking to create a seamless communication layer between Web 2 platforms (e.g., Google Play, Apple App Store) and blockchain environments (e.g., Avalanche). Our goals for this bridge include:

  • Simplified Access: Enabling gamers to interact with blockchain-based assets without requiring deep technical knowledge.

  • Interoperability: Striving for digital ownership that persists across various games and platforms.

  • Familiar UX: Aiming to retain the ease of use found in traditional applications while leveraging decentralized features.

Infrastructure: Cloud-Based Node Model

MXS Games is designed to operate on robust cloud-based infrastructure, leveraging providers such as Google Cloud, AWS, and Ava Cloud. This cloud-first approach is intended to optimize security and performance while seeking to eliminate the need for specialized physical hardware for our users.

The Node License System

MXS Games introduces a "cloud-hosted node license" model. This decentralized cloud computing framework is designed to distribute operational responsibilities among license holders.

Current Design Parameters:

  • Initial Release: A first-phase target of 6,000 node licenses.

  • Reward Allocation: 35% of the total $XSEED supply is allocated for potential distribution to license holders over a projected 10-year period.

  • Infrastructure Support: License holders are intended to support gaming operations and smart contract execution via delegated cloud resources.

  • Operational Ease: Designed to function without the need for physical hardware, manual maintenance, or direct electricity costs for the holder.

Service Fees and Reward Framework

The system is designed around a hosting fee model aimed at long-term sustainability:

  • Introductory Phase: For the first six months post-TGE, the system is designed to provide rewards without a cloud hosting fee requirement.

  • Post-Introductory Phase: A hosting fee is intended to be activated, aimed at supporting the maintenance and scalability of the platform.

Prospective Advantages

We aim to offer an alternative to traditional Web3 node models by focusing on:

  • Lower Barriers to Entry: Seeking to remove the need for costly mining rigs.

  • Automated Processes: Aiming for a model where participants pay hosting fees in exchange for automated system contributions.

  • Scalability: Leveraging cloud-first logic to strive for high availability across the global network.

What is an MXS Node License?

Node licenses are represented as NFTs that are intended to allow owners to participate in the ecosystem's support and reward pool.

Designed Utilities & Functions:

  • Participation Rewards: Designed to enable reward claims for active license holders.

  • Operational Rights: Intended to grant the right to support or host game server components.

  • Tiered Eligibility: Mythical licenses are designed with the prospective eligibility for token or game-related airdrops.

  • Engagement Access: Potential entry into ecosystem competitions and raffles, where applicable.

Strategic Disclosure & DAO Oversight

While MXS Games endeavors to maintain a high-performance and rewarding infrastructure, the actual distribution of rewards and platform performance are subject to network activity, technical constraints, and market conditions. All node parameters, reward schedules, and hosting fee structures are subject to adjustment through MXS Games DAO governance to ensure the continued health of the ecosystem.

Complete KYC

NOTE: Like all other similar node licences in the industry, wallets must pass KYC before they claim accrued node rewards. BlockPass (third party) is the official KYC and KYB provider for MXS cloud node licences. Here’s how to get started with KYC:

Complete KYC herearrow-up-right

You can contact Blockpassarrow-up-right for KYC issues. After submitting your KYC documents, check your inbox (including spam) for updates that require additional verification. Once you’ve passed KYC, the MXS system will be automatically updated within 24 hours enabling your wallet to claim. If after 24 hours, your wallet is still not activated, please raise a report on the website with the category ‘NODE REWARDS’ / ‘KYC completed but cannot claim’.

Hardware needed to run a node?

Our design with Avalanche will not require individuals to run a node. Instead master nodes will be run by Avalanche Cloud Services. Details will be announced as we get closer to mainnet.

This would mean NFT licences holders can get rewarded and all other benefits for just holding the licence while the hosting is done by Avalanche Cloud Services. As holders do not need to run a node on PC, there will be a small hosting fee that will need to be paid instead. This is more secure, reliable and sustainable in the long term. This will improve the player experience at the expense of reduced decentralized. As we are a web 2.5 project, we trust Ava Labs (built Avalanche) to manage the chain.

When multi player competitive games are introduced, the node licence(s) can be used to run game servers (optional) to earn a share of the entry fee.

Rewards

A huge 35% of the entire supply is set aside to reward node licence holders. That is a whopping 17.5 billion tokens.

Rewards for full licences can be calculated herearrow-up-right.

Fractional licences will receive 10% of the rewards over 5 years.

Rarities

The node licence NFTs will have different rarities based on number. A unique number is allocated based on the purchase order and that dictate the type with Mythical & Legendary being the most prestigious and limited in number. Usually the highest rarities are the most expensive but in this case, they are the cheapest and given on a FCFS basis (first come, first serve, fair launch).

This way we ensure out early supporters are the biggest beneficiaries..
